“Trained by Dauphine Scalbert, I chose modelling (coiling and modelling) ; I can feel the energy of the earth, without dominating it. I move away from the wheel because, in my opinion, the tool is interposed between the earth and me. Spontaneity and gesture bring irregularities, asymmetries. Aesthetics is nourished by the sobriety of lines and imperfect surfaces… I need to merge with the earth to let the room escape and thus free my emotion.”
