Found in every coffee shop around Marrakech serving traditional mint tea, in every tourist bag bringing it back as THE typical gift from Morrocco, the verre Beldi (the beldi glass) is a 100% moroccan handmade product. Hand-blown using recycled glass, its making process follows the same savoir-faire since the 40’s, inherited from father to son. In 2013, the last glass factory in Morocco closed down, leaving its customers and employees abandoned. Willing to keep this iconic product alive, the Beldi group decided to take over, establishing a new glass factory in the Beldi country club and taking back the old factory’s employees.
