Lucie Faucon obtained a degree in graphic design, then, having the desire to return to a more manual approach and close to the material, she trained in ceramic crafts for two years in Sèvres.
Her desire to create is to combine the approach of a designer and a craftsman in order to combine graphics and ceramics as equitably as possible.
Inspired by Memphis design, she pays attention to the rendering of her objects and what they evoke. She likes to play with color through the work of colored earth and engobes, to obtain a didactic and joyful rendering.
Each ceramic piece presented is unique in form or decoration.
Her creations are entirely handmade, as well as the molds that serve her for some of her pieces. Lucie uses the coiling, pouring and stamping methods.
