Mami Kanno

Born in Tokyo, Mami Kanno graduated from the University of plastic Arts of Tokyo. The ceramist creates pieces in stoneware, porcelain and raku which are beautiful by their simplicity. Her work revisit the origins of Japanese ceramics by bringing a contemporary vision to it. It is shown in Paris, Tokyo and Switzerland since 2003 and supported by many chefs, journalists and specialists of tea ceramony.
